Important Information with regards to insurance cover

It is a requirement that you proactively advise of and disclose all material facts. A material fact is one that, singularly or collectively, might influence the insurer when considering policy terms or premium.
Examples of material facts include, but are not limited to:

Special or unusual circumstances relating to the risk;
Any particular concerns which led you to seek insurance cover for the risk;
All information which would influence the judgement of a prudent insurer in determining whether to provide insurance and, if so, upon what terms and at what premium.

If any such information has not been disclosed, insurers have the right to avoid the contract from its commencement, which may lead to claims not being paid.
